After one and another and another
disaster with my moving, I finally
cut my losses and prioritized my time
to give ya this Francis fight... and...
is it me, or is Francis kinda huggable?
I see him in panel 2 and he is kinda
plushie looking
So, answer me this, to which other
series does FFC remind you of?
Poor...uh...dat guy. I can understand wanting to defend his daughter & all that (btw, dat reunion, tho...brought a friggin tear to my eye...), but at his age, he's gonna get his donk handed to him
Well, francis doesn't actually need to defeat the dream soldier; he merely needs to distract her, keep her from pursuing our heroes (or absconding with the unconscious Nellie). THEN his next priority is to keep from being defeated (and taken prisoner) himself. Since the dream soldier does not seem to know just who he is, if he can keep his identity secret from her (and hence the rest of Paws' Den security), he will have achieved a strategic victory.
I would probably agree that zoophobia is the most similar. I came here from slightly damned so it reminds me of ffc too. Also some webcomics on tapastic that are in my reading list, there are too many to list though.
Your comic reminds me of Luke McKay's "Balls 2 That" for the comedic moments and I agree with SkunkWitch that Zoophobia also comes to my mind when I think your comic for the anthro characters.
Not sure if this counts, but I have to say it reminds me a bit of Undertale, more specifically Pucho reminds me of the main character. Yes it's a video game, but you didn't say it couldn't be a video game. ;)
Francis is most definitely huggable!
He's a cute giant cinnamon roll!
I don't think that FFC reminds me of any other series that I'm currently reading...
Even though I'm also reading Zoophobia, personally, I don't see many similarities. (I'd really like if someone explained them to me, though.)
I'd say it reminds me of Housepets, just from the zaniness of the comedy. (But even then it seems a bit far-fetched...)
I'd say FFC is a series of it's own, really... Unlike any other I've seen so far.
In response to Valeriano and Dudeman147, this is how I feel that FFC is similar to Zoophobia.
In my eyes it boils down to not only the anthro characters, and the secret society hidden away from the population at large. FFC has the same sort of hidden "evil" that very few people know about. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is in FFC, though I have some ideas. I also see Zoophobia in FFC in the concept that we have the main character being introduced to said secret society and trying to cope/live with their new surroundings. They have to abandon their previous lives, and have to realize that this is their reality know.
Anywho, that's just my thoughts as a long time Zoophobia fan ~
I really happy that you asked this question because i got a new comic to read out of it. As for the comic that i belvie most remind me of ffc that would have to be camp Weedonwantcha.
either way, nice job, Bakerman :3

Wow... I didn't even THINK to think about it that deeply.
That's a very good point! Very good analysis!
Wow!
